Florida judge dismisses officer's manslaughter charge in shooting death

TAMPA, Fla. (Reuters) - A Florida judge dismissed on Wednesday a manslaughter charge against a sheriff's deputy who shot to death a man carrying an air rifle, after the law enforcement officer argued that he acted in self-defense, his attorney said.
