U.S. to announce crackdown on IRS impersonation scam

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. government will announce on Thursday morning the arrest and indictment of individuals suspected of scamming taxpayers since 2013 by impersonating Internal Revenue Service officials, a Treasury Department watchdog said.
