Tyrus Wong, pioneer 'Bambi' artist, dies at 106

LOS ANGELES (Variety.com) - Tyrus Wong, whose paintings served as visual inspiration for Disney's animated classic "Bambi," died Friday, Dec. 30. He was 106.
