Verdict reached in N.Y. trial over 6-year-old's 1979 disappearance

NEW YORK (Reuters) - A New York City jury reached a verdict on Tuesday in the retrial of a former delicatessen worker charged with murdering Etan Patz, a six-year-old boy whose disappearance in 1979 triggered national soul-searching over the plight of abducted children, according to a defense lawyer.
