Supreme Court rules for Texas death row inmate over IQ claim

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday ruled in favor of a death row inmate convicted of a 1980 Houston murder, finding that Texas used an obsolete standard to assess whether a defendant has an intellectual disability that would preclude execution.
