South Carolina utility halts construction at nuclear reactors

COLUMBIA, S.C (Reuters) - The board of Santee Cooper, a state-owned utility, voted to halt construction on Monday of two unfinished nuclear reactors at the V.C. Summer generating plant, which have been dogged by billions of dollars of cost overruns.
