Illinois Senate passes tax hike; governor has vowed to veto

CHICAGO (Reuters) - The Illinois Senate on Tuesday gave final approval to a revenue bill for a fiscal 2018 budget that includes a big income tax rate increase that Governor Bruce Rauner plans to veto.
